According to a new Pew analysis, roughly half of all illegal immigrants enter the country legally and then overstay.
Just another reason a fence would be of less help than people think and a more orderly, legal guest-worker program might be of more help.

The fence is less help because it would “only” stop half of the illegal aliens? Right.
The fence would also stop those who come in with complete anonymity.
This government does nothing to round up those who overstay their visas.
This government would likewise do nothing to round up those who overstayed guest worker permits.
As long as the government refuses to enforce the law, how would a guest worker program be of “more help”? Please explain.
Right now, a fence/wall is actually the only thing which would be of “more help”.
A fence/wall does not require a President willing to honor hos oath of office in order to be effective.
