So, a wide-ranging discussion left all of us with some important questions.
Chief among them: If 2008 is Hillary vs. McCain, who will we vote for?
I’m hopping on the Hillary 2008 bandwagon while there’s still room.

McCain has no chance of winning the Republician nomination. Rudi has the inside track, although if President Bush wants to annoint a sucessor, that will be the the Republican canidate.
And if McCain is the Democratic choice for the Republican nomination, then Hill-de-beast is the Republicians chouce for the Democrats.
Hill-de-beast will raise the bar for canidates with baggage. She needs a 24×36 walk in closet to have room for all her skeletons. Even if the MSM doesn’t want to get into the various shady deals she has done, the Swift Boat Veterans showed that the MSM is no longer the arbitrator of what gets talked about.
The Democratic party is clueless. The Country has moved away for the Liberal/Socialist pograms of the 1930’s thru 60’s. Demonrats think that they are just not being effective in getting their message across. They refuse to face the fact that it is the message that is being rejected, not the messengers.
Two things can happen. Eith the Democrats move back towrd the center and drop the wacko greens and surrender monkeys of their party, or the Democrats go the way of the Wigs and Federalists.
My wish is for complete deadlock between the executive and legislative branches. Hillary may be the most hated Democrat ever and with her rise to power perhaps nothing will happen for 4-8 years.
