Well, I’m back from Rome, which was absolutely beautiful. It did, however, give me a greater appreciation of two features of New York City:

1) Less gypsies

2) No motor scooters trying to run you down no matter where on the street/sidewalk you are

Much more to come over the weekend, including:

1) Why Nick Kristof should choke on it

2) Canadians who hate Canadians (and the Canadians who love them)

3) A gallery of pictures from Rome

4) And my correspondence with a former bank official from Nigeria who has no grasp of irony

Also, a big M.O. thank you to Jacob Gershman, who served as content provider while I was away. His is now the first name that comes up when you Google “serial bigamist,” and I, honestly, couldn’t be more pleased with myself.

Perhaps this experience will spur Jacob to start blogging himself. Columbia University and CUNY, especially, would be thrilled.
